Luxilon's tension-stability string: very stiff, low-powered and low-launching, with a muted, solid feel. Fresh it feels boardy, but it changes less over 5 to 10 hours than almost anything on this list, so the bed you liked on day two is close to the bed you have on day ten. Because it is so stiff, string it lower than ALU, often mid-to-high 40s. Only for 4.0+ players with fast swings and healthy arms. If it feels like a plank, go back to ALU Power or try 4G Soft.
Best for: Tension stability, big hitters. Feel: Stiff, very stable. Gauge: 16L / 1.25. Look at the gauge on the pack before it goes in the racket.
